The John Lewis ad is live here in the UK so I thought it would be perfect timing to talk about surviving the holiday season.

This time of year is a time for gratitude for all that we have, the flipside of this being that it is also a time when it is especially difficult not to grieve for that which we do not.

While I was going through infertility I found Christmas so hard. I used to adore this season but it turned into something I dreaded.

In this free workshop I’ll share

♥ How to find relief from repetive negative thinking. The ‘what ifs’.

♥ How to keep yourself a float during the holiday insanity.

♥ Fantastic comebacks for awkward questions about when you might have a baby.

I’m Naomi Woolfson, a mind-body therapist and coach specialising in fertility.

The techniques I share and teach are the ones that transformed not only the way I was approaching trying for a baby, but every other area of my life.

I fell pregnant following IVF in the spring of 2016 so our baby would have been due early January. I had envisioned a quiet Christmas at home waiting for our baby’s arrival and the possibility that he/she may arrive on Christmas Day!

When I miscarried my thoughts immediately turned to the fact that Christmas could be extremely difficult and we put plans in place to prepare.

I say could be as with my mindfulness and other mind-body practices I knew not to expect to feel any particular way just to be prepared.

Learning mind-body techniques allowed me to regain my strength and happiness BEFORE I fell pregnant. Instead of plummeting into depression I felt hopeful and expectant for the future.

Three months later I conceived my son naturally and 23 months later I conceived my daughter, again naturally and on the first try.

I’m so excited to be able to share this with you.
