Cognitive hypnotherapy integrates cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), evolutionary and positive psychology, emotional freedom techniques (EFT), hypnosis and neuro linguistic programming (NLP) to create a fast and effective way of creating lasting change in your life. I found Naomi's style very approachable and gentle. I have seen another hypnotherapist recently and she was far more 'aggressive'. Aggressive is not the right word really but she talked a lot and I found it difficult to find my own words. Also the audios I've listened to in the past were very much, 'you will feel more relaxed', 'life will be better'. Naomi has a much gentler approach that is easier to access. What happens in a typical session?
One-to-one sessions give you a safe space to a voice how you are feeling. Each of us is different and how you are personally experiencing infertility and what you would like to achieve from our sessions will command the path we take in terms of therapy. Cognitive hypnotherapy utilises many powerful techniques and each session will be specifically tailored to you. Sessions last 90 minutes and I will write and record you a personalised MP3 of hypnotic suggestions and email to you to listen to each evening as you fall asleep. The number of sessions we have will depend on what outcome you desire but on average 3 - 6 sessions is fitting for creating change as cognitive hypnotherapy is a brief solution focused therapy.

My qualifications and governing bodies:
I trained in cognitive hypnotherapy with Trevor Silvester the founder of this revolutionary new therapy at the Quest Institute London. I have a diploma in cognitive hypnotherapy, I am registered with the National Council for hypnotherapy and have ongoing supervision as part of the Quest network. I am a certified practitioner of neuro linguistic programming. I completed my emotional freedom technique (EFT) practitioner training in September 2013 with master practitioners Emma Roberts and Sue Beer who contributed to the book 'The Babymaking Bible'.
